Funny moments

So last week we had some pretty laughable moments.
I was first.
After I landed in Salt Lake City I decided to use the restroom since my flight had arrived early. After I went to the baggage claim. As I am waiting for my luggage I get a tap on my shoulder. Excuse me miss you might want to pull your shirt out in the back. Oh crap! I was wearing a long shirt/dress with leggings and had tucked my shirt into them. I could have died. But wait it got worse. As I am putting my luggage into the car, my sister said, "What is that on your teeth, it is black?" Apparently I had left over blueberry on my teeth. The poor guy probably didn't have the heart to tell me I also had black on my teeth. One of my most embarrassing moments!

On Sat. Sam was coaching his soccer games. I was gone still. Anyway, Kyle was on fire. He scored 5 goals. On one of his break aways Sam was getting pretty excited. As Kyle kicked to score a goal Sam did too (a power kick). His shoe went flying as well. The parents laughed and said, "Oh you're one of those parents!"

My special boy Alex started his homework while I was gone all by himself. Unfortunately he can't read the directions. I asked him to get another packet from his teacher. So yesterday after school I asked his teacher if he had anymore homework packets. He said he gave one to Alex. Then said, "I have to asked because I wasn't sure if it was true, did the dog really eat his homework?" My sweet son and his imagination. I had a feeling Alex might make up a little story.

Already starting with the "dog ate" comments! Love it!

ps. everyone eats so everyone gets stuff on their teeth.

Don't worry, You'll never see the guy in the airport again. Better to happen there than here. Plus (looking at the bright side) you came home with funny story to blog about.

Your dad told his first grade teacher that the Marrotts had gold buried behind the barn. (If he unearthed some, I never saw it!) Sounds like Alex has a creative mind just like his grandpa!

Alex is also doing great. He loves being a big brother. Everyday Alex, Kaylee and I walk (he rides is scooter) to pick up Kyle. It is a great reason to take a walk everyday. Fortunately the weather is warm enough we can do that. While we're walking Kaylee reaches out her arms for Alex to give her a hug. She really does love him. Right now he is very much into trains. He wanted a big Thomas Train track for Christmas. He also carries many of his trains in his back pack around the house. He also really loves Lightning McQueen and all the Cars stuff. He and Kyle both enjoy jumping on the trampoline. It is something they do everyday. Alex also loves tools and working with his dad on projects!

Kaylee

Kaylee is full of personality. She has just been so fun to have in our family. She is definitely entertaining. She is also so loving. She loves her brothers very much always following them around and wanting to be right in the mix of everything they do. She adores her dad. Everyday she will hear the chime from the front door when Sam comes home and she walks as fast as she can talking, (we don't know what she is saying yet) with her arms streched for her dad. Her favorite toys are her doll house, a big farm she can walk in, babies, and this toy that pops balls out. She has been a super happy baby. She is growing up so fast. She really just wants to do what everyone else does. Her all time favorite thing is her blankie. She has a few. She just loves fleece blanket with fringe. She carries them around all day and put them to her nose and smells them. Don't ask me why.
