So, I am a little hesitant posting this but it is pretty funny. We had some friends over Last Sunday night. Kids were just having a grand ol' time. Kaylee found herself entertained by some beans (the kids earn beans). So we look over and she is stuffing her underwear with BEANS!! I was so embarassed!! I went over to her and told her that it is not okay to do. Her response to me was, "MY BEANS, MY BUTT, YES!! MY BEANS, MY BUTT YES!" We had a good laugh.

Kyle had a great first day. He said his teacher is nice. He loved playing with all his friends again!

Boys' First Day of School

Alex had a good first day of school. All morning he kept asking when we could go. His teacher said the first hour he missed me alot but once they got busy he did a lot better. Hopefully tomorrow there will be no tears. I am really proud of him.

Bye Bye Civic!

Sam sold my civic yesterday. We had to say goodbye after 10 years together. It was a great little car. I bought it my senior year of high school!
It only had 64,000 miles on it!

Our New Ride!!

On Sat. Sam came home with a new car! It is a ford expedition el. We are so excited to have some more room. It was getting pretty tight in the explorer. Sam remains a loyal ford fan.

Our trip to Washington!

Sam and I had a fabulous time in Washington. The day we were there was absolutely beautiful. We first went to Anderson Island. We found our old house. The picture of the lake is actually the back yard. We found my old school. It was a tiny little building. I ran down the field where we had our field days. We had a wonderful time reminiscing. We also ran into someone who remembered me and my family from 20 years ago. He gave me a big hug.

We then went to see the space needle. It was my first time going up there. I have to admit Sam and I got pretty nervous. It was amazing and beautiful. Then we were able to stay at a lovely hotel on a lake. Thanks to Shannon, Derek, and Sam's mom for watching our kids. It was so nice to be alone. In 8 years it was our first get away on our own.

Then next morning we visited my grandparents on the way home.

We had an awsome time on the boat. Shannon and Derek are always so great to take us out. The lake was amazing that day. It was so calm and the water was really warm. We really enjoy visiting them. The kids are in heaven, playing 24/7. We love the Tree House!

More vacation pics

We had a wonderful long vacation. We first spent time in Danville, next 3 nights in Oregon at Cannon Beach. Then a week in Beaverton Oregon. We had a blast. Sam and I also were able to go to washington without the kids! I was able to show Sam some of the places I grew up. Our favorite was Anderson Island.

Barlow Family Reunion

Cannon Beach was incredible! We got to stay in these fantastic apartments basically right on the beach. It really felt like a vacation. We all had such a great time playing together.
